FREE GHP/GAP Training in Yavapai County

If you are a specialty crop producer in Northern Arizona and have not yet obtained certification to verify your farm practices, our favorite food safety expert from the Arizona Department of Agriculture, Stewart Jacobson, will be hosting a FREE training for audit certification - the USDA’s Good Agricultural Practices and Good Handling Practices (GHP/GAP) - in Yavapai County:

WHO:            Producers of fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and other horticultural foods

WHEN:          Monday, August 13, 2018 from 10A – 3P

WHERE:        Camp Verde Community Library, 130 Black Bridge Loop Rd., Camp Verde, AZ  86322

WHAT:          Upon completion, you will qualify for ADA/USDA Reimbursement Program:  ADA will reimburse up to 75% for one annual successful audit for GAP and/or GHP certification
