Beginning May, 2008, the Arizona Department of Agriculture fees for the use and harvest of native plants are as follows:
|Annual "salvage assessed" native plant permit
|Annual “harvest restricted” native plant permit
|One-time use permit to salvage or harvest a native plant
|“Harvest restricted” trees cut for firewood
||$6 per cord of wood
|Tags for any other protected native plant on the Department’s protected native plant list
|Nolina or yucca parts. Unprocessed nolina or yucca fiber shall be weighed on a state-certified bonded scale, and the weight certificate submitted with payment no later than the tenth day of the month following each harvest.
||$6 per ton
|NEW Certificate of inspection fee. The Department will charge a fee to provide a certificate of inspection for shipments of “harvest restricted” native plants that enter or leave the state.
|NEW Seal fee. For each native plant seal a person obtains, a small fee must be submitted
||$0.15 per seal
