Approved Vapor Recovery Equipment
Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) § 3-3512 and § 3-3515 require vapor recovery systems and components that have been certified by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) or that have been approved by a third party that is recognized by industry and the Weights and Measures Services Division (WMSD) as being accredited to test vapor recovery system components. Additionally, equipment that has been rejected by WMSD are prohibited from use within the State of Arizona. Listed below are the vapor recovery systems and components that are approved by WMSD.

CARB-Approved Equipment:
- Phase I Pre-EVR or Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) equipment certified by CARB as identified in the CARB Executive Order or approval letter.
- Phase II Pre-EVR, EVR, or Pre-EVR ORVR Compatible equipment certified by CARB as identified in the CARB Executive Order or approval letter.
- Clarification of Division Policy for use of CARB EVR Phase I Pressure/Vacuum Vent (P/V) Valves with Pre-EVR Stage II Vapor Recovery Systems.
