U.S. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue designated one NM county as a primary natural disaster area due to drought. This county AS WELL AS CONTIGUOUS COUNTIES could be eligible for Farm Service Agency loans. Farmers have 8 months from today's date to apply for such loans.
