Laboratory Certification

Laboratories seeking certification for agricultural laboratory services should first fill out the Laboratory Certification Application and submit the completed application and certification fee to the State Agricultural Laboratory (SAL).  Upon receiving an application, the SAL will conduct an administrative completeness review.   After completing this initial review, a substantive review will be conducted.  The substantive review will include an on-site survey and will be focused on the requirements listed in Arizona Administrative Code (AAC) R3-5-105.  Reviewing the Laboratory Certification Preparation Checklist may be helpful in assessing your laboratory's readiness for an on-site inspection and audit.
