Pesticide Safety Trainer Program

Our Pesticide Safety Trainer Courses (PSTC) are held online.  Upon completion of the training portion, participants are required to take the PSTC exam in person at one of the testing sites (Phoenix, Yuma or Tucson). Following the training, AZDA instructors will provide location and time options and will schedule particpants for testing at that time.

COVID-19 -  If you have any symptoms of an illness, please do not come in to test, schedule another time when you are feeling better.  The symptoms of COVID-19 are as follows: Fever, Cold, Chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat and Loss of taste or smell.

We encourage those wanting to become pesticide safety trainers to register for the courses when they become available as attendance is in high demand.   

Both Arizona Department of Agriculture Pesticide Safety Trainer Courses, for trainers of agricultural workers and pesticide handlers have been approved by the EPA, in accordance with the 2015 WPS expanded training content (40 CFR 170). Approval numbers: EPA WPS TTT W/H 00045 and EPA TTT W0005.
